Microsoft brings Linux command line to Windows

Microsoft announced during the private developer Build "Bild" conference that the next update of the operating system "Windows 10" will bring with him the first time the private system Linux known as the "Bash" Bash the command line.

This comes as a fruit of cooperation between Microsoft and "Canonical" developer of Linux distro famous "ubuntu", which will arrive in the command line with a group of Ubuntu tools and the ability to run Ubuntu binary files Binaries.

Microsoft said that Linux command line will be available in the native Windows rather than through the Virtual Machine, which means that he will use the experience of matching available to those in the Linux systems in terms of use and performance.

"Bash" is the preferred platform for developers and managers of sites and servers and advanced users, providing flexible, standard operating environment which is not matched by the tools that were available in Windows by default.

The company announced that the command line will become available within the next major update for Windows 10 and expected arrival this summer.

It is noteworthy that Microsoft had seemed more open in recent years on the world of open source, where previously issued several open source software, has also in late 2014 to open source its own development platform "Dot Net".
